The food truck is officially back on the streets of Charlotte NC and surrounding areas! Our schedule and menu can be found below 🤗.

Pre-orders are available beginning at 8 am the day before an event and close 2 hours before service begins. Walk up orders are accepted.

Please keep in mind that the food truck and restaurant menu options are different. Specials that appear at the restaurant will not be available on the food truck.

The What the Fries food truck is an important part of our history and future. It’s the concept that helped us make it to the final rounds of auditions for Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race” in 2014. Although we didn’t make it onto the show, we weren’t ready to let go of our dream. We launched the food truck on August 28, 2015, in a former FedEx delivery truck we bought for $3,000. Our first event was at The Unknown Brewing Co. near Bank of America Stadium prior to the Carolina Panthers preseason matchup against the New England Patriots. They lost by 1 point that game, but we felt like we were finally winning.
